Why is it that my daughter manages to gently pierce food with her fork and successfully bring it to her mouth, yet put a spoon in her hand and the food in her bowl (yogurt, applesauce, etc) ends up from her eyebrows to her fingertips and the spoon is nothing more than a flinging implement? With a fork she’s a lady but with a fork she degenerates to using her hands? I don’t get it. This is the hardest thing to teach a toddler!
Except potty training, I’m sure.
And except everything else that’s also difficult. I’ll probably curse that, too.
Sigh. It never ends….
