If My Toddler Only Paid the Bills

Our latest water bill was almost 50% higher than the previous one. It’s the height of summer … yet rather than point to higher lawn and garden watering, I blame our toddler. Between her now using the toilet (1.6 gallons per flush!) and spending approximately 34 minutes washing (and washing, and washing…) her hands afterward, she is the new third to our water bill. Thanks, kiddo – yet another benefit of potty training….

For the record, I am EXTREMELY happy she’s potty trained!
