It’s pretty obvious that we are a bit over-princess-y around here. And what follows while we were watching Frozen is further proof. I promise I will set Toddler straight on reality vs. movies. But … for now, she’s three years old and enjoying life – who doesn’t want to dream, after all?
Toddler: “I’m leaving after this movie ends.”
Me: “Where are you going?”
Toddler: “I’m going to marry you.”
Me: “You can’t marry me – I’m your mom! I’m already married to daddy. Plus it’s kind of illegal.”
Toddler: “No, I’m going to marry you.”
Me: “You have to marry a boy.”
Toddler: “No, I don’t.
Me: [Pausing … unsure what to say, then -]
Toddler: “I have to marry a prince.”
